King’s zirconium silicate is made up by the highest quality Australian Zircon sands. It enjoys the chemical feature of a fine white mineral powder, chemically inert and stable at very high temperatures. Insoluble in water, dilute acids and hot concentrate sulfuric acid.
King's zirconium silicate is widely used in ceramic industry as white opacifier for tiles, tableware and sanitary ceramics, with applications in the following fields:
Type | PSD 2μm (%) | Zr(Hf)O2 (%) | SiO2 (%) | Fe2O3 (%) | TiO2 (%) | Al2O3 (%) | Whiteness |
